Copyright laws have been influenced so much by big media corporations that they last indefinitely and are too restrictive. For this reason, this blog is licensed under a Creative Commons license. here's a video about Creative Commons:

Creative Commons is part of the Copyleft movement which uses copyright law to remove restrictions from the license holder's works. I myself am an anti-copyright inforanarchist.
http://www.questioncopyright.org/ is a good website to look at. "Promoting public understanding of the history and effects of copyright, and encouraging the development of alternatives to information monopolies." There's also the infoAnarchy wiki.
